Whirling Dervish also known as Sema is a ritual performed by opening arms to both sides and turning right palm to the sky and the left palm to the earth accompanied by religious instrument of ney. Sema symbolically express the formation of the universe, the resurrection of man in the realm, his act of love for creator, and his tendency towards the “Perfect Man” by realizing his weakness.
